Taxes in the Holy Empire of Pakistan

With the arrival of V1 our financial system has been deeply transformed, and for so the taxation in the Holy Empire of Pakistan is being modified. Please take a moment to read this handy information.

While the old party, house and company taxes have been removed, presently these are the ones in use.

VAT tax| This tax is very useful. It charges the final price of the manufactured items (not Raw Materials) with an amount that goes directly to the State. Unofficial companies have to compete against State funded ones, what hardly can be achieved, and another benefit from this course of action is pakistani goods being more expensive in relation with international markets, discouraging foreigners to come to our country to do cheap buys.

Income tax| Unused until now, it reveals itself as an important tool to mantain sovereignty over our economy. It works by charging the wage received by workers, so by its setting another way of income for the State is created, as another obstacle for unofficial companies operation for similar reasons than the VAT tax.

Import tax| This one is a traditional tax in Pakistan, aimed to limit the foreign penetration in our markets and guarantee the development of our productive system. This policiy it’s also supported by another novelty in V1, the trade embargoes.

Due to the effects on the economy of this tax changes, the actual payments system will be also modified, accordingly with ANNEX#1 below.

Because of the existence of wages distortions while all these changes are being implemented fellow comrades are kindly asked to collaborate in the creation of an initial stock of Raw Materials, needed to properly continue our successful productive system. You may find a list of official companies in the ANNEX#2 below.

And, finally, all Imperial Congressmen are requested to make use of their law proposals to continue setting the new taxes in a daily basis to fastly finishing setting up our Superior National Economic System following the list in the ANNEX#3 below.

The Pakistani in V1

From The Pakistani newspaper our esteemed readers are welcomed to the New New World of Erepublik V1.

Countless changes have been made and, as nearly always happens, they have been not well received.

We do not want to judge from our pages the deep transformations that the game has suffered, but to note to our audience a couple of details that can be of use from now on.

First, the port from the Beta has resulted in a bad re-encoding of all the previous articles, so we kindly suggest to all readers interested in our old articles to properly read them in our Interreal Edition.

Secondly, after this newspaper having published a worldwide acclaimed Raw Materials World Map with the first data offered by admin, it seems that the resources world distribution has suffered some changes, so please refer to this spreadsheet:

Finally, our office wants to proudly remember that soon before the testing and launch of the V1 the secret new construction industry was unveiled by this newspaper, so it resulted to be a military defense system.

Gandhinagar moves to Bangalore

Abdul Yusuf, founder Press Director of this newspaper, enlightened by His Divine Majesty Dio Brando commited himself to the progress of Gandhinagar in all levels. He managed to encourage colonists to settle there, so Gandhinagar became one of the most active and dynamic pakistani cities. He also started from scratch the economic structure of the village by the foundation and management of many companies, being the best example Pharmapak, and created the first local political party of the nation, fully loyal to God-Emperor.

With the arrival of the V1 many things are going to change in nearly all fields, so proper measures have to be taken in order to improve our global lead. Some old schemes are being forced to change, and in benefit of our Holy Empire we all comply with it. Abdul wasn’t able to know of this events.

The recently unveiled raw materials lead us to a Industrial Revolution, and early response can only do good. For so, and due to the new resources distribution, the gandhinagarian population is permanently moved to the city of Bangalore, wich actual inhabitants are excited for this new duty for Pakistan.

With this action, previously discussed with Dio Brando Himself, both aims of creating a starting point for the resources exploitation and securing the area with a homeland defense squad are carried out.

The gandhinagarian local party, Gsquad homeland defenders and other facilities will be also relocated, serving the local community.

From this pages we would like to ask to fellow gandhinagarians before they leaving to their new homes to sign to permanently appoint Abdul Yusuf as Mayor of Gandhinagar after the ending of present office held by Tayeirand, as in V1 Mayors never will be elected again.

Sandtux meets Alexis Bonte in Madrid

Half-way back from Porto, where his office at the Embassy of the Holy Empire of Pakistan in Portugal is located, Press Director Sandtux was able to concede Alexis Bonte a tête à tête in his headquarters in Madrid, Mexico, just before he leaving this city to Sacramento.

Refusing, in the traditional pakistani way, any official escort or mean of transport, dignities accordingly to his importance, the sand-penguin went across the city, described exactly as it was in The First Trumpet of Dio. The poverty of many was within reach, while the wealth of few was an exception, but admired by the masses of starved workers.

Sad for this vision, the pupil of Abdul Yusuf reached the place, what was for sure an example of luxury and extravagance. Even it being beyond doubt his host’s intention, he was aware of the capitalistic ways and was not impressed by the tens of servants in the office, who, soon after his arrival, announced him to their master.

Alexis Bonte turned out to be an attentive and funny son of Dio, tall enough to even do a pakistani brother note it, for sure because of being able to afford Q5 food, only available for tycoons. Impressed by Sandtux’s accuracy reaching the office, not surprisingly from someone not used to humble means of transport, he agreeded to introduce him the labourers, even finding it meaningless for them being simple workers. Among them, his right-hand, a pretty chick from the States, very busy with half a dozen telephones, surely making unholy wealth with honest workers money at the pig disgusting stock markets, present there too. Aware of the given impression, the boss decided to ease the situation by offering the guest a drink, passable beverage even not being sand-distilled, and started the desired interview.

He exposed his interest on Pakistan and admiration, even not sharing, of Dioism, noting his past location, some time ago, in the Sand Land, where he stated having had a nice stay among sand comrades. He also related his movements in Erepublik, and how his capitalistic interests do not leave him spare time for activities other than working and travelling for business, with no little envy to us pakistanis for he having been able to fight only once, while any regular dioist fights as many times as possible.

After that, Sandtux exposed him how the Word of Dio brought him to Erepublik, his guardianship by Abdul Yusuf and his learnings, and main matters about international economics and politics, and the necessity of both international and national Justice systems. At this point, they started to discuss about the changes to come with the V1, and the role of a leading nation like Pakistan in the New Order of the New World. This led to the sharing of points of view and ways of how to avoid the whole World being shadowed against the Light and deafened against the Truth of His Divine Majesty Dio Brando.

Finally both of them passed to the Press Room and had a brief photo-wall session, just before Sandtux leaving the office and returning to the comfort and the warm comradeship of the sands, ready to resume his various duties in the Motherland. At his arrival the God-Emperor, whom may be praised, was properly reported back about the content of the meeting.
